In March, Shine Lawyers will hold free drop-in information sessions in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, providing communities with the opportunity to speak to the lawyers running the Stolen Wages WA Class Action. Our team on the ground can help community members register their claims for compensation and answer any questions they may have about the settlement secured by lead applicant Mervyn Street with the Western Australian Government worth up to $180.4 million. To be considered for compensation, group members must register claims for themselves, their spouses or parents by 30 June 2024. If you registered before November 2023, you MUST register again. For information about the upcoming March sessions or to register for the settlement, go here: https://lnkd.in/djYpmWSB #westernaustralia #wa #remote #stolenwages #classaction #pilbara

That's a great initiative to provide free information sessions in the Pilbara. This will help ensure communities understand their rights and access the support they need.
